I remember ever since I was a little boy, my mom used to always speak to me of reinventing yourself. Taking time to yourself every now and then to look at your life and reflect on where you are and where you want to be. The same can be applied to fashion, I always feel the need to look at my personal style and think of ways of how I can change it up for the better, I want to wear something and make people say to themselves, “Oh I never would have thought to do that, interesting”.

I have news for you!!!! Burberry has launched Mr. Burberry – the new fragrance for men inspired by its British-made Heritage Trench Coat. In honor of that I got the ultimate experience when I was asked to come down to their recently opened Mall of the Emirates branch to not only discover the new fragrance, but to get fitted for my very own customized trench (initials and all!!!). It was a tough decision to make trying to choose which color the trench should be, add to that what length, fit, and what colors you want the initials to be. You can rest assured knowing I was in that store for some time! But I wasn’t complaining, the who process is so much fun! The fragrance itself looked beautiful and smelt even better, you just knew that Burberry had hit it out of the ball park yet again with their latest men’s fragrance.
Now I, like every guy out there, like a good tailored suit. Now keep in mind, I enjoy wearing a suit, just not in your traditional way. I’m more of a suit, t-shirt, sneaker and shades kind of guy – you want to look comfortable yet leading man-ish (I create words on this blog). To me Dior are one of the best when it comes to tailor made pieces, and now more than ever I recognize the importance of a well fitted suit. Dior just opened it’s first ever Dior Homme store in the region and I couldn’t be happier about it, reason being that they offer a made-to-order service where you can build your own suit. From color, to fit, to feel, it’s all up to you! Now even though I didn’t have time to order a suit, I still knew that their read-to-wear selection would never disappoint. With that said, I made my way down to their newly opened Dior Homme boutique in Mall of the Emirates to see what we could do – Enter the suit of the season!!!
Nothing comes close to the pleasure of driving on the open road. That’s why I was excited when, courtesy of Arabian Automobiles Company, I was given the Infiniti QX50 to test-drive for an entire week! It was going to be ‘The Beast’ and me navigating the Dubai roads together; I had already started planning our adventure days in advance. With a city as interconnected as ours, maneuvering through the small residential lanes to the five- lane highways is seamless, but I must admit, it helps having the right car.
This past weekend, I decided to take a stay-cation, and I wanted to discover a new address. So I checked myself into the Vida Downtown Dubai, a place where I have been many times before as it is home to Dubai’s renowned La Serre restaurant, but never truly experienced the pure essence of it which is its hotel. VIDA Downtown Dubai has quickly become the new destination for Dubai’s urban travelers, known for its fresh eclectic look and sleek, modern décor that embodies the young, cosmopolitan scene it attracts. The hotels interiors, designed by LW Design Group LLC, are full of chic minimalism, using muted color palates and funky design elements that capture both the vibrant life of Downtown Dubai and the understated cool that VIDA Downtown Dubai attracts.
I have been an avid lover of Faith Connexion Paris for some time now, but I just never knew what to get, that due to the fact that every piece is sicker than the next (yes i said sicker). During men’s fashion week in Paris this past season I was lucky enough to meet the Faith Connexion Paris team, and they couldn’t have been sweeter.
